[tab][/li] [li]Find an opening for your class/spec in the "Recruitment Openings" box located in the menus on the left side of our website. [i]Exceptional players of any class/spec should not hesitate to apply[/i]. [tab][/li] [li]Fill out & submit an application by clicking "Apply Now!" at the bottom of this page. [tab][/li] [li]Be able to maintain at least 90% raid attendance as an initiate and post on our forum in advance when you have to miss a raid. [tab][/li] [li]Be able to farm enough mats/gold for raid consumables to be used on every non-trivial boss attempt. [tab][/li] [li]Be able to use Ventrilo with a working microphone in order to listen & speak to raid leaders. [tab][/li] [li]Have a a good knowledge of your class and it's full function in a raid environment. This means an acceptable raiding spec and the ability to use your spec to the best of it's potential. [tab][/li] [li]Be at or near the soft hit-cap for your class/spec. This means your special attacks generally do not miss when fighting raid level bosses. [tab][/li] [li]Research & review boss strategies/videos before coming to each raid. [tab][/li] [li]Know how to have fun; "drama queens" & players prone to excessive negativity need not apply.[/li] [/ul] [i]Once your application has been reviewed by our team lead & officers, we will contact you for an interview to be conducted over Ventrilo.[/i] [tab] [u]Our initiate period runs for approximately 10-12 raids, roughly 3-4 weeks depending on your performance & attendance; missing raids may extend this time period.[/u] [b]During your initiate period, you will be evaluated based on but not necessarily limited to the following criteria:[/b] [ul] [li]Your attendance; do you show up on time, or are you showing up late and missing raids? [tab][/li] [li]Do you actively participate in the wait-list, or do you log off when you don't get a raid invite at the beginning of the night? [tab][/li] [li]Does your connection seem stable, or do you disconnect / go offline frequently? [tab][/li] [li]Your skill in terms of your role (tanking, DPSing, healing). [tab][/li] [li]Your knowledge of your class, game mechanics & our current content. [tab][/li] [li]Is your gear appropriately gemmed & enchanted?. [tab][/li] [li]Do you/have you put effort into improving your character outside of raids taking advantage of badge and reputation rewards? [tab][/li] [li]How you relate/interact with our members? [tab][/li] [li]Do you come prepared to raid (repaired armor, knowledge of the strat, stocked up on consumables etc)? [tab][/li] [li]Do you offer & accept constructive criticism? [tab][/li] [li]Are you around when we aren't raiding & how do you spend that time? [tab][/li] [li]How do you represent our guild to non-guild members in pick-up-groups & public chat channels?[/li] [/ul] [b]As your initiate period comes to a close, our officers will post a vote on our forum. In this post, our Veteran members will vote & add comments to your application. The vote has 3 options:[/b] [ol] [li]Yes, promote this player to Veteran. [tab][/li] [li]No, cut this player from our team.
