Above all else, the Guild comes first. Strive to help guild members when they need it. Whether it is quest completion, teleport, or item/cash loans if appropriate.
On the other hand, if you are in need, consider your request before making it. It's generally too much to ask someone to leave a raid to enchant your cloak. Conduct yourself appropriately.
What you do and say directly affects the image of Measure of Faith as a whole. Be honorable and be proud. Give selflessly of yourself when the opportunity arises and when appropriate to do so. Buffs, teleports, heals, resurrections, etc. are appreciated by anyone, more so when unasked for. If busy hunting or otherwise occupied, politely explain why when you can and don't rise to any bait or insults tossed at you.
This kind of thing does happen, don't let it get to you. If and when people persist in being a jerk, feel free to let them know how you feel in a
non-harassing manner.
Adhere to prior agreements concerning loot rules, mob rotations, etc. when hunting. Ask for the rules before joining pickup groups. If you disagree, don't join, hunt elsewhere or in another group.
When in an instance group, determine a rotation for trade skill materials in advance. For example, miners who need ore; herbalists who need flowers.
If and when disagreements between members arise, settle them privately or using an officer to mediate if necessary.DO NOT FEED THE PUBLIC FORUM TROLLS, and using public guild chat (or shout, /ooc, etc.) to air disputes is frowned upon. If a disagreement's resolution would be good for the guild as a whole to hear, an officer will take care of it.
Be honest and fair when buying, selling, and trading. By all means attempt to get the best deal possible, but shady tactics are not acceptable. For example, selling a summoned health stone for 2 gold.
Ninja looting is not only frowned upon, but if substantiated, can be basis for immediate dismissal.
No member of Measure of Faith may raid any current raiding content on any character outside of guild raids. This applies to all members of the guild. We feel it to be a conflict of interest for any member to be in our guild and raid with another guild.
In keeping with Blizzard's policy, Measure of Faith does not condone the use of "botting" programs. Put the time in yourself to grind out your rep or skill levels.
Do not apply to another guild while in Measure of Faith. We expect members of Measure of Faith are here because this is where they want to be.
Zero-sum means that DKP are distributed based on the value of items that drop. All members in a zero-sum DKP start with a score of 0. When an item is given to a raid member, she has to pay for it in DKP (going negative if necessary). These DKP spent are immediately distributed among all the raid members. Thus the amount of DKP, i.e. the sum of all members in the system, is always zero. The idea here is that inflation is impossible, since no points enter the system from the outside.
In any guild instance runs or raids, ALL MEMBERS PASS ON BOP items until it is decided if the item is an upgraded or needed by anyone. Remember to look for BOP on the item before rolling greed or need. During raids, ONLY MASTER LOOTERS shall loot corpses unless otherwise advised. Raid leaders/officers will determine if an item goes for bidding or random. Bidding will be open to classes able to use the item, with restrictions or exceptions placed as officers see fit.
We ask that if you must AFK during a raid, that you let your raid or class leader know, and place yourself on auto-follow or in a "safe spot" before leaving your keyboard, when possible. Please keep any disputes for after the raid, if possible. Most of the loot awarded is Bind on Pickup, so if a mistake was made in distribution, it can't be fixed until later anyhow. Most personal disputes can be addressed better and more efficiently after the raids when an officer can give you their full attention.

There will be no DKP style raids during off-days although exceptions can be made in case of exceptional progress. We ask that during raids, you try to keep chatter on Ventrilo to a minimum, particularly when the raid leader begins to give raid instructions. We want you all to have fun, but paying attention to your roles in the raid is extremely important for our success!
Prioritize and "give the right of way" during raids to those who need it. While in Ventrilo, please bear in mind that our guild spans a wide variety of ages, ethnicities, genders, and social backgrounds, so try to decide for yourself if the joke you're going to make might possibly be hurtful to someone you consider a friend! We want everyone to be comfortable and have fun, so let's try to keep that in mind as we chat.
